Or atleast, when It declared itself a subsidiary company of meta.

And as you would know, after the arrival of Chat-gpt, there was a rush of AI startups,
Similarly, we can see that there is a lot of activity going on in the AR/VR world as well.

Even if it's not that fast, we can see that the trend of augmented/virtual reality is at least not too far. Apple has just launched its Vision Pro headset and it has proved that Apple is not in the mood to be left behind in this new trend.

But somewhere, people still haven't understood how to use it.

There are so many questions that are running through people's minds at the moment.
The thing we need to understand is that the metaverse is still in its early stages, but it has the potential to revolutionize the way we live and work. It could be used for education, training, entertainment, and even business.


Businesses can use the metaverse to create immersive experiences that will help them to connect with customers and promote their brands. For example, they've the option to create virtual stores or showrooms where customers can browse and purchase products, or they could host events and workshops.


Ironically, businesses already started implementing this approach & it contains some industry giants.


Gucci created a virtual experience on Roblox where users could explore a replica of its flagship store in Milan and purchase virtual Gucci items.

Ralph Lauren also launched its first digital fashion line on Roblox. The line, called the Ralph Lauren Winter Escape, featured eight winter sportswear looks based on the Polo Sport line from the 1990s.


 The items could be purchased and tried at “Polo Shops” featured in the Winter Escape experience. The Ralph Lauren Winter Escape was a success. It attracted over 1 million visitors in its first week, and it helped to increase new digital customer acquisition by 58%. And now, the online world of Roblox, with 47 million daily active users. It stocked its virtual stores, open 24/7 and accessible to anyone in the world in just a few clicks, with virtual puffer jackets, checkered beanies and other retro skiwear for the winter season, priced under $5.


And not only that,


The band Kings of Leon performed a virtual concert in Fortnite that was attended by over a million people. The concert took place on April 23, 2021, and it was the first major live music event to be held in Fortnite. Fans could watch the concert from inside the game or on Twitch.
